I was driving the other day and realized that a praying mantis was on the windshield of my car. You will see its journey, through the photos that I took, as it was staring at me, appearing to try to get my attention to pull over to allow it to crawl off to safety. Most of the trip was highway driving and I was surprised it was able to hold on for the 45-minute ride! As you can see in the first photo above, it was fine at the very beginning of the ride.
The photo above shows the praying mantis throwing its arms up as if upset with itself for getting into such a mess, almost as if to say, "How was I so dumb..."
The above photo also has its arms up, but is looking directly at me as if to signal, 'what the heck, Lady?'
